The Anvil Agrinomics team had an incredible experience at MJBizCon 2024. This year’s event was the perfect venue for reconnecting with industry partners, forging new relationships, and exploring advancements in cannabis technology. We took full advantage of every opportunity to learn, network, and gain fresh insights—and we’re excited to share our highlights and key takeaways!
Anvil Agrinomics AT MJBIZCON 2024
MJBizCon provided the perfect setting to reconnect with partners, engage with clients, and meet new industry leaders who share our passion for excellence. Held annually in Las Vegas, MJBizCon is the world’s largest business-to-business conference for the cannabis industry. With over 30,000 attendees, 1,400 exhibitors, and 100 expert speakers, the conference serves as a hub for emerging technologies and valuable networking opportunities.
On the expansive trade show floor, we explored the latest advancements in cultivation equipment, energy-efficient systems, and automated solutions—gathering insights that will inform our own work in cannabis engineering. From in-depth conversations to informal meetups, every interaction deepened our understanding of the challenges and opportunities shaping the cannabis space today.

NETWORKING BEYOND THE TRADE SHOW FLOOR
MJBizCon is about more than just booths—it’s about creating meaningful connections. The Anvil Agrinomics team took full advantage of off-site networking opportunities, attending standout events like MoCann’s 2024 Missouri MJBizCon Meetup and Cova Software’s James Bong: Cannabis Royale. These gatherings offered a relaxed environment to strengthen relationships and exchange ideas with professionals from across the industry.
Jim and Corey were also able to take a break from the conference to engage in some friendly competition with industry connections over a round of disc golf. It was a fantastic way to bond and continue conversations in a more casual setting. Both Jim and Corey enjoy the sport, and having the chance to connect with others in a laid-back environment was a highlight of the week. Whether talking shop or simply enjoying the game, the experience reinforced the importance of personal connections in business and provided another opportunity to deepen our relationships with industry peers.
